Open House Spills Some True Blood for Grindstone Entertainment

While the chemistry between True Blood stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer is apparently hot enough to keep people tuning in week-to-week for the HBO vampire drama, you have to wonder if said chemistry will translate into box office receipts for the Grindstone Entertainment Group, who are looking to give Open House a release this August.

Shock Till You Drop tells us that Grindstone Entertainment Group has acquired North American distribution rights to the thriller Open House, which stars Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Tricia Helfer, and Brian Geraghty. It was written and directed by Paquin’s brother, Andrew.

Alice’s (Rachel Blanchard) open house event draws unforeseen interest from a pair of sociopathic house hunters (Brian Geraghty and Tricia Helfer). Hidden away in her own home, Alice becomes privy to the perverse relationship between her captors. She realizes that David (Geraghty) has kept her existence a secret and finds herself involved in a dangerous love triangle where two of the parties just happen to be co-dependent sociopaths.
