Noomi Rapace in Alien: Covenant After All!

It was reported previously that Noomi Rapace would not be back to reprise her Prometheus role of Elizabeth Shaw in Ridley Scott’s next installment, Alien: Covenant. Apparently things have changed.
According to Deadline Rapace is in Australia and on the set to shoot weeks worth of scenes in Scott’s film.
Along with the returning Rapace, the cast includes Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Benjamin Rigby, Demian Bichir, Danny McBride, Jussie Smollett, Amy Seimetz, Carmen Ejogo, and Callie Hernandez.
Specific plot details for the new film are being closely guarded; but it is believed to follow the crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet, who discover what they believe is an uncharted paradise but is, in fact, a dark, dangerous world, the only inhabitant of which is David (Fassbender), the “synthetic” and survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
