New Spanish Horror – Verbo

default-featured-image

With American horror flipping around like a fish out of water and gasping for air lately, it’s good that someone somewhere is getting things right. Sadly original horror films aren’t exactly in abundance here anymore. Thank god for the option to import!

A new Spanish horror flick called Verbo has just landed itself on our radar of all things good and spooky. The flick is in post-production right now from Filmax International (REC, REC 2, Sleep Tight) and Apaches Entertainment.

The flick, directed by Eduardo Chapero-Jackson and starring Alba Garcia and Miguel Angel Silvestre, tells the tale of Sara (Garcia), a teenager who just does not understand the world in which she lives. Her search for meaning will lead her to a secret place where she will embark on a great adventure towards life … or death.
