#SDCC16: Bif Bang Pow! Adds Color to The Twilight Zone Series 4

Published

on

We’re just a little over a month away from the start of the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con, and on tap today are the details of a few more horror-based exclusives heading to the big show… Bif Bang Pow! has collaborated with Entertainment Earth on a set of SDCC-exclusive 3¾-inch color action figures inspired by “The Twilight Zone.”

Feast your eyes on Series 4 below!

Available for the first time on July 20th at Entertainment Earth’s Booth #2343 at San Diego Comic-Con, fans attending the show will have the earliest opportunity to score these individually numbered and limited edition exclusives.

About the Figures:
Designed similar to the action figures released in the ’70s, each retro-styled color figure features 5 points of articulation (neck, shoulders, and hips) and showcases a classic character with episode-specific accessories. Each convention-exclusive action figure is a limited edition of only 672 pieces – with each piece in the run individually numbered on a holographic sticker.

The Twilight Zone Don Carter 3-3/4-Inch Action Figure In Color
Celebrates “The Twilight Zone” episode “Nick of Time,” featuring William Shatner as Don Carter. This unique figure comes complete with a miniature Mystic Seer inspired by the same fortune-telling machine shown inside the famous Busy Bee Cafe.

The Twilight Zone Jerry and Willie 3-3/4-Inch Action Figure In Color
Pays homage to “The Twilight Zone” episode “The Dummy.” This rare figure of the persecuted ventriloquist appropriately comes with his deranged dummy – which also includes 5 points of articulation. But that’s not all… Willie also features a hand slot in the back, so you can pose Jerry and Willie together!

The Twilight Zone Hansen 3-3/4-Inch Action Figure In Color
Salutes “The Twilight Zone” episode “A Quality of Mercy,” featuring Leonard Nimoy as Hansen, the radio operator. This exclusive show-inspired figure of the World War II character comes complete with his battlefield accessories: removable helmet, rifle, and field radio that opens to reveal a pull-out phone.

NECA Announces Ashy Slashy Puppet Replica

Published

on

One of our favorite horror TV shows is Starz’s “Ash vs. Evil Dead,” and one of our favorite moments from the first two seasons is when Ash brings out his “Ashy Slashy” puppet.

If you’re like us and have been wondering when you could get your hands on an Ashy Slashy puppet of your own, today we have good news.

NECA has just announced its prop replica!

You can check out pics of the packaging reveal NECA did over on Facebook below, and then let us know if you’re going to be buying your very own Ash Slashy puppet.

We’ll let you know when the item becomes available for pre-order!

Rundown via NECA:
Every day can be demented play day with your very own Ashy Slashy puppet from Season 2 of Ash vs. Evil Dead! We’ve replicated Ash’s potty-mouthed little doppelganger from the asylum episodes for your (hopefully G-rated) entertainment.

This is a working puppet – insert your hand, and you can move the mouth; plus the arms are poseable thanks to inner articulation.

Ashy Slashy is approximately 15” tall.

Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and the Xenomorph Getting Their Own 8-Bit Pop Vinyls

Published

on

Funko has released some delightful horror-themed products over the years, but this just takes the cake. They’ve announced a new line of 8-bit Pop Vinyl figures, which will feature pixelated versions of Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and the Xenomorph. I never thought I’d say it, but even Freddy Krueger looks cute.

Freddy and Jason will both come in standard editions, in addition to GameStop exclusives based on how they both appeared in their own NES video games. The Xenomorph will also have a Previews exclusive edition depicting it smeared with acid blood. Have a look at the images below to decide which versions you like best. Most of us would probably like to purchase all six!

These adorable (but still horrible) figures will be available in January, so make sure you don’t go bankrupt over Christmas.
