The Next Sign of the Apocalypse? A Clash of the Titans Sequel Coming in 2012.

Yep. The Clash of the Titans remake. For the life of me I still can’t put my finger on how a film with so much going on could play so hopelessly lifeless. Despite lackluster reviews and fan reaction, Warner Brothers is officially out to try and make things right.
According to Deadline New York, “Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures are moving ahead with a sequel to Clash of the Titans, which the studio would like as early as spring, 2012.”
Here’s what we know thus far — Sam Worthington will be reprising his role of Perseus, Louis Leterrier will be vacating the director’s chair, and Greg Berlanti will be handling the writing duties. The hunt is on for a director who hopefully will see to it that most of the gods in the movie don’t end up just standing around this time. Seriously, who were all those people in Zeus’ chamber? I think maybe two of them spoke, if that!
