Ghostbusters – Fall Out Boy with Missy Elliott Cover Iconic Track

The film version of Ghostbusters isn’t the only thing getting the redux treatment as THR is reporting that the upcoming soundtrack to the all-female reboot helped the band Fall Out Boy cross one of the biggest items off their bucket list: a collaboration with Missy Elliott on a remake of Ray Parker, Jr.’s, iconic theme song from the 1984 comedy classic.

It’s like they’re just trying to piss people off now. Especially when the obvious choices for the cover was Tesla and Master P. Other acts on the soundtrack include Elle King, G-Eazy ft. Jeremih, 5 Seconds of Summer, Pentatonix, Walk the Moon, and Wolf Alice. The full track listing for the album will be announced soon.

Look for the Ghostbusters: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack album due out on July 15th on RCA Records.
