Based on the popular manga series written by Takaya Kagami and illustrated by Yamato Yamamoto, the first season of the humans vs. vampires anime series “Seraph of the End” is now available from Funimation in a standard Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and as a limited edition version that comes in a collectible art box.
Set in the far future where a virus has decimated the human population, the world of “Seraph of the End” is being torn apart by a war between what remains of the human population and the vampires and other supernatural creatures that have arisen from beneath the Earth. And it’s one hell of a brutal war, too, with tons of awesome stylized anime gore on display.
Synopsis:
