The wife and I recently sat down to try and watch Day Watch, a mistake for two reasons: One, the copy we had of Night Watch was Russian so it had terrible subtitles and made no sense, so we retained nothing of it; and two, the copy we have of Day Watch is Russian and has terrible subtitles and made no sense.
So we’re two for two with this series.
Fox Searchlight, however, did pretty well with the release of Night Watch over here, a version with much better subtitles that I really need to see, so they’re moving forward on their Day Watch release plans. Only problem is they aren’t sure which poster works the best.
This is where you come in. Head on over to Coming Soon right now to vote for your favorite Day Watch poster, and who knows, they might actually listen to you and pick yours as the one they use! My personal favorite is on the right, but don’t let me sway your judgment. Even though I am quite handsome and important.
