The makers of the upcoming home invasion film The Marshall Family have decided to take a unique route in regards to their crowdfunding campaign instead of the usual “give us money, and we’ll give you t-shirts” approach. Read on for details.

About The Marshall Family:
The filmmakers at Blood and Guts Pictures are pleased to announce the launch of a completely unique concept to crowdfunding in support of their home invasion film The Marshall Family, starring Bill Oberst, Jr., and directed by Shane Michaels.

The Marshall Family is a thriller about Rick, a local small-town sheriff, and his family, who have fallen victim to a home invasion, bound and their lives threatened.  When lies and secrets are revealed, the line between victim and villain fades, leaving us blind and possibly violated.

The concept of their campaign is quite unique and very simple: Instead of priced rewards such as t-shirts, DVD’s, and other items we are all so familiar with, backers of The Marshall Family can claim one or more of the over 129,000 frames of the film. And as frames are claimed and support grows, so do the many other rewards which ALL backers, no matter how much they have supported, will equally receive.

The filmmakers created this concept so they could give their backers more than a t-shirt and DVD; they want to get them involved, immersed, give them a real piece of the film to exclusively own, and then continue to reward them all as they help the filmmakers reach their goal.
