There are few films coming out later this year that have as big or as interesting of a behind-the-scenes story as Kevin Greutert’s Saw 3D. The Saw vs. Paranormal Activity rivalry has been well documented online, and we’ve all sifted through the dirty laundry. In the end we’re sure Greutert will deliver once more so there’s a lot to be excited about … speaking of which …

Where you won’t find excitement is within the first two behind-the-scenes images from the set that have just leaked online at Wikipedia of all places. That is, unless you find images of people on a movie set or wearing snazzy crew jackets exciting. Then you’ll be in a state of Nirvana!

Filming is under way in Canada with the below images being snapped at the Metro Hall in Toronto. With a script penned once again by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, Saw VI director Kevin Greutert returns to play Jigsaw’s new game … in 3D. Look for the film to open against Paranormal Activity 2 on October 22nd.
