Last week, as part of our Friday the 13th celebration, we gave you an exclusive peek behind the scenes of Titan’s Penny Dreadful comic with the writers, and today we’re back with a look at the making of the art seen in Issue #1.

Based on the hit series on Showtime, this prequel reveals the terrifying events that led Vanessa to try to find her missing childhood friend, Mina Harker, and exposes the true nature of the vampiric monsters infesting Victorian London. It is beautifully realized by Louie De Martinis’ artwork and written by the scriptwriters of the award-winning television series.
