Wicked Trailer Debut for Vincenzo Natali’s Splice

After delivering the goods and garnering a lot of positive buzz during Sundance, Warner Brothers has finally unleashed one hell of a trailer for its latest film Splice. The flick gets released nationwide on June 4th under Warner’s Dark Castle Entertainment banner, and all I can say is, wow. Things are lookin’ really good.

Director Vincenzo Natali’s Splice stars Adrien Brody, Sarah Polley, Delphine Chaneac, David Hewlett, and Brandon McGibbon and tells the tale of Elsa and Clive, two young rebellious scientists who defy legal and ethical boundaries and forge ahead with a dangerous experiment: splicing together human and animal DNA to create a new organism. Named Dren, the creature rapidly develops from a deformed female infant into a beautiful but dangerous winged human-chimera, who forges a bond with both of her creators – only to have that bond turn deadly.
