Das German Trailer for The Shock Labyrinth

The international trailer for Ju-On creator Takashi Shimizu’s latest dive into the terror deep, The Shock Labyrinth in 3D, has arrived, and its riddled with stuff we can’t understand. That’s okay though. Screaming is a universal language.

The film follows a group of teenagers dealing with the sudden return of a friend who went missing a decade ago. When the friend falls ill, they take her to a hospital but end up trapped in a labyrinthine haunted house.

For more you can visit the official Shock Labyrinth website, which unfortunately unless you speak Japanese you’re probably gonna have a real devil of a time finding your way through, as you have to navigate through a haunted house to see all its sights.

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.

I’ve seen this one last weekend at the FFF Nights in Cologne/Germany, and man, was that film a stinker.

“…it’s riddled with stuff we can’t understand” – trust me, even if this had subtitles or was in english, you still wouldn’t understand a thing, cause this one’s just one huge mess of a film. It plays a bit like a mix between a “Ju-On” sequel and danish mid-nineties Slasher “Final Hour”, only much more boring and incomprehensible. And don’t even get me started on the 3D, it’s bad, headache-inducing bad. Whatever talent Shimizu once had – it’s gone now.
