While Rob Zombie’s take on the Halloween films left the fanbase pretty much divided over the liberties and direction he took with the franchise, there’s one thing for certain … he will not be returning for a third film. But … someone is!
Chatter about Halloween 3D has been constant, but the only thing that we know that’s a concrete sure thing is that the film will be taking advantage of today’s superior three-dimensional technology.
We also know that the writer/director team of Todd Farmer and Patrick Lussier, who flexed their slasher muscle with My Bloody Valentine 3D, were brought on to deliver the film, but then things got a little bumpy.
So the question beckons — will the film still be happening with them? Only time will tell, and over on the newly launched official Halloween 3D Twitter page, the studio promises that they are extremely close to some major announcements and have posted a preliminary teaser image below. Keep your eyes peeled for them soon, and be sure to follow along by hitting up the above linkage.
