Strap in for TH13TEEN, the UK’s Ultimate Horror Roller Coaster!

The UK’s Alton Towers theme park has recently unveiled its latest adrenaline-pumping roller coaster in the form of the horror-themed TH13TEEN, and it looks to be a horror-loving thrill-seeker’s dream come true!
Being touted as the world’s first “psychoaster” by its creators, TH13TEEN is themed around the discovery of an ancient crypt as actors dressed as wraiths terrorise punters from the foggy woodland surroundings.
The ride’s secret weapon comes in the form of a 15-foot freefall drop. In the dark. Let me repeat that:
A FIFTEEN FOOT FREEFALL DROP. IN THE DARK.
Can you say “Fuck yeah”?
Check out the official TH13TEEN site for some extra goodies and info, and watch the below video from Sky News of the ride in action. While you can’t see the drop itself, the look of terror on those people’s faces at the closing moments makes me very, very excited. Only time — and a ride — will tell if it’s better than the Thorpe Park Saw coaster, which was fucking awesome. Best one I’ve ever been on!
