New Novella from Eric S. Brown - How the West Went to HellPill Hill Press recently sent over the news that Eric S. Brown is releasing a new novella this month entitled How the West Went to Hell that’s primed to take readers on an Old West adventure of epic proportions.

The author’s name should be familiar to regular readers of the site as we have both a review of his zombie anthology Season of Rot (click here) and an interview with Eric S. Brown (click here).

How the West Went to Hell promises “a gun-toting, six-gun blazing tip of the hat to both the horror and Western genres.” Its synopsis follows:

A bookish editor travels to Reaper’s Valley, a small town set in the Wild West, to finish the macabre manuscript of a recently-deceased novelist. He arrives by stagecoach, where he is introduced to a classic bevy of characters who will join in the fight against the yellow-eyed demon bodysnatchers overtaking Reaper’s Valley.
