Some new screenshots landed in our inbox today dripping with entrails. We were most pleased! Splatterhouse — the original bloodcurdling epic video game featuring a hockey-masked killer with a bigass 2×4 that took the Turbografx 16 and Sega Genesis by storm. Bless you, Namco. Bless your black still beating heart!
Though we still don’t have a firm date yet (Gamestop has it listed as September 1st), we do know that the game entails the now skull-masked Rick returning to a veritable splatterhouse of horrors to save his beloved Jennifer from all kinds of evil. Really? That’s all the storyline we need!
