Writer/director Kevin Kopacka is gearing up to take us all into the 9th circle of Hell with TLMEA (pronounced “Tolomea”), a 35-minute arthouse horror film that will serve as a sequel to his 2015 film Hades (review). Kopacka has provided us with the exclusive first look, which comes in the form of a trailer, stills, and poster art. Read on!

The short will tell the story of two undercover cops caught in a dream in which they descend into the 9th circle of Hell. The name TLMEA derives from the Ptolomea – the lake of ice, where sinners are frozen forever – found in the 9th circle of Hell in Dante’s Inferno.

Written by Kopacka and H.K. DeWitt, TLMEA stars model Anna Heidegger and musician Cris Kotzen (who reprise their roles from Hades) as well as author H.K. DeWitt, rapper Ufo361, and contemporary artists Jonas Hofrichter and Iman Rezai, among others.

The film will premiere in Berlin on May 15th and will then hit VOD after a short festival run.
