Toby Jones Leads Cast of UK Thriller Kaleidoscope

Principal photography has begun over in the UK on the psychological thriller Kaleidoscope, which is being described as a modern day Psycho. We’ve got all the information you need, including the main cast reveal, so read on. And remember. A boy’s best friend is his mother!
Per Screen Daily, Kaleidoscope will star Toby Jones (Berberian Sound Studio, Dad’s Army), Anne Reid (The Mother) and Sinead Matthews (Happy-Go-Lucky).
The film, written and directed by Rupert Jones (Toby’s brother), explores the destructive relationship between a middle-aged man and his mother.
“The script is a character driven story that requires the best actors to bring these characters to life,” said Stigma Films producer Matthew James Wilkinson. “We couldn’t be happier to have secured such incredible talent in Toby, Anne and Sinéad.”
Also producing is Maggie Monteith (Searching For Sugar Man) of Dignity Film Finance under the production banner of Longships Films Ltd. Executive producers are Chris Reed and Phil Rymer, with Roopesh Parekh (Poldark) co-producing.
