Doug Bradley Joins The 4th Reich

Doug Bradley Joins The 4th ReichNazi zombies are really hot (or should I say cold?) again thanks to Dead Snow and Call of Duty: World at War so it’s a no-brainer that a horror flick called The 4th Reich is picking up some major steam by filling out its already packing cast!

We just received word that Hellraiser‘s Doug Bradley has been confirmed to play SS-Hauptsturmfuhrer Gast. Bradley will be joining the already announced Tom Savini, Sean Pertwee, Axelle Carolyn, Simon Bamford, and Craig Conway in Shaun Robert Smith’s undead opus.

June 1944, after the glorious victory on D-day, the armies of the combined allied forces begin their long push to Berlin with the aim of bringing down Hitler and the despised Nazi regime of the Third Reich. But buried deep in secret files is the chilling reality of Hitler’s plan to create an eternal living hell, The 4th Reich.

Dr. Joseph Mengele, Hitler’s chief scientist, was charged with creating a new super army of invincible soldiers. A force that would never be beaten. His experiments and research at the death camps of Auschwitz, Belsen, and Birkenau would create unspeakable evil.

A small brigade of soldiers from 3rd Infantry Division under the command of the battle-hardened Captain Bathurst embark on an ever-darkening quest to liberate Europe. Fighting their way through the French countryside, villages, and war-ravaged towns. Each step discovering progressively strange battles and events until they reach an abandoned research facility where the true horror begins…

Shaun Robert Smith burst upon the scene with his award-winning 2007 short film The Soldier, which you can dig on by clicking here. It’s gonna be really interesting to see what Smith can accomplish with a heartier budget. Visit the official 4th Reich website, and keep it locked on Dread for more on this one really soon.

Bamford and Bradley together again? Pertwee and Savini? Well this will certainly be worth a look at least.

I admire Tom Savini, but really he should play to his strengths. Translation: I’d like him to do the f/x.

I’m hyped for this one! Doug Bradley and Sean Pertwee… serious acting chops.

Agreed 100%. In fact the whole cast is pretty impressive. Will be interesting to see how Savini does in contrast with the others.
