Haunted: The Series Starring Lost’s Matthew Fox FINALLY Hits DVD

In 2002, before the phenomenon known as “Lost” captured the hearts, minds, and obsessive compulsive disorders of fans everywhere, Matthew Fox starred in a rather unsuccessful TV show called “Haunted” that lasted from what I remember only a few weeks. Thanks to Phase4Films this skeleton is coming back out of the closet!

After having a near-death experience, ex-cop-turned-private-eye Frank Taylor (Fox) learns that he has the ability to see and communicate with restless ghosts of murdered people who ask for his help in solving their deaths.”

Sound interesting? Honestly, we barely remember the show so it’s kind of hard to say either way. That’ll change on April 13th when the show drops on home video featuring all eleven episodes, four of which were never aired.

I saw the pilot on Scyfy and I was bored stiff. I never bothered to watch the other episodes.

Good news! This is a very stylish, noir-ish series with lots of atmosphere and some genuine creeps. I always liked it. The quality of the writing can be somewhat uneven in a few of the episodes, but Fox is excellent throughout.
