A press release sent out this weekend made a pretty cool announcement for one of the producers of Jamie Farr’s Xombie, Lawreen Yakkel, though sadly it has nothing to do with a feature-length Xombie entry.
The team behind Xombie is joining forces with Ken Foree’s E&B Holdings with the express intent of creating two horror films, the first called Burning the Man. No plot info was given out for the project, but writer Kenny Yakkel did tell us that the title has a dual meaning, the key words being The Man … curious? So are we!
Buring the Man has been in the works since August of 2006, so by now it’s a fully-developed idea. Cameras are expected to roll on the film later this year, though no director or cast has been attached yet. We’ll find who we have to set on fire to get more info on this and let you know more soon!
