Steven Spielberg's Nine Lives Uses Up Another LifeAround four years ago a new series was greenlit by what was then respectfully known as the Sci-Fi Channel concerning death and the afterlife. Despite the go-ahead, the show never got made (maybe its backers learned of the ridiculous network name change ahead of time?), but now the Steven Spielberg fueled miniseries “Nine Lives” is once again gathering some healthy buzz.

According to The Hollywood Reporter the project has sparked interest at Syfy’s sibling network, NBC.

The Spielberg produced vehicle, written by Les Bohem, revolves around a group of people who find a way to reunite with their loved ones in the afterlife through near-death experiences, but those journeys unleash an evil force.

More soon.
