I’ve not had a chance to listen to it yet, but a reader by the name of Joe just dropped us a line with a heads up about the latest interview over on Dead Pit Radio, the second half of a chat with legendary director/Blue Underground CEO Bill Lustig.
Though a lot of career discussion goes down, of course he’s got info about upcoming Blue Underground titles. He reveals that a special 2-disc edition of the overlooked Argento classic The Stendhal Syndrome, which you may recall starred a barely legal Asia Argento in some very compromising situations.
Curious to see if he goes into any specifics? You’re going to have to head on over to Dead Pit Radio’s site and download the latest episode of the wildly popular horror talk show. The good news is we can finally get rid of that shitty Troma DVD release from many years ago and get a decent, worthy release of this freaky Argento head trip.
In other Argento news, according to the site for Profondo Rosso, Argento’s latest film, The Third Mother, is scheduled for an Italian release on October 31st, 2007. Some cutting needs to be done for it to pass Italian censors apparently, which is exactly what we like to hear!
