Mickey Keating just wrapped filming on Psychopaths, his sixth feature in only five years, and it’s being described as a sprawling, psychedelic ensemble piece that follows several serial killers over the course of a single night. The cast is comprised of many fan-favorite horror actors, and we’ve got the latest update for ya today.
Per Collider, Ashley Bell (The Last Exorcism, Carnage Park) and Angela Trimbur (The Final Girls) will star alongside Larry Fessenden (Southbound), Jeremy Gardner (The Battery), Graham Skipper (The Mind’s Eye), Matt Mercer (Contracted), Helen Rogers (V/H/S) and Shudder curator Sam Zimmerman.
“It’s a very kind of sprawling ensemble serial killer movie that’s very heavy-handed 70s, Paul Schrader-type violence,” Keating told the site. “It’s the exact opposite of what Carnage Park is, it’s very colorful and energetic and crazy. There’s 20 characters in the movie so it’s very different.”
