Not sure how Dread-worthy this one’s gonna be, but Variety is reporting that Jake Gyllenhaal is set to co-star with Ryan Reynolds and Rebecca Ferguson in Skydance’s sci-fi flick Life.

Daniel Espinosa is directing the film, with David Ellison and Dana Goldberg producing along with Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn. The script was written by Deadpool duo Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.

Life‘s story follows the crew of the International Space Station, who, after retrieving a sample from Mars, discover that it displays signs of life, and proves to be more intelligent than expected.
