Lady Gaga Returning for American Horror Story Season 6; Angela Bassett Directing an Episode

As per usual, we don’t yet know much of anything about the next season of “American Horror Story,” which will be its sixth, but details are starting to trickle in. For starters, we know that it will take place in two different time periods, but primarily in the present, and Angela Bassett has confirmed she’ll be returning – and directing an episode, the first time a woman has been at the helm. She broke the news on “The Chew,” which you can see below.

In an interview with Z100, singer Lady Gaga answered a simple “yes” when asked if she’d be joining Bassett. “I can’t promise you how or when or anything like that,” she went on to say.

Gaga made her debut on the FX horror series in “American Horror Story: Hotel,” and she nabbed a Golden Globe for her performance as the blood-drinking Countess. We knew that creator Ryan Murphy was hopeful that Gaga would be back for Season 6, so this news comes as no big surprise.
