The feeling of dark depression that comes over us when our loved one leaves can push us to violent thoughts, but few of us actually carry them out. Well, it does happen in the new film A Guidebook to Killing Your Ex, in which a lonely man decides it’s time for some payback on the woman who broke his heart.
It comes from award-winning directors Gergö Elekes and József Gallai, whom we previously interviewed about the monster flick Moth, and is currently on Indiegogo. Check out the creepy trailer below.
Synopsis:
Hi there! My name is József Gallai, writer and co-director of an upcoming horror/drama/found-footage film entitled A GUIDEBOOK TO KILLING YOUR EX. My frequent collaborators are Gergő Elekes, director of internationally acknowledged short drama BLUE DREAM, and Sándor Gál, director of award-winning short film MOVE ON.
A Guidebook to Killing Your Ex – isn’t that something we all need sometimes? And for those of us tired of reading, our team is ready to make a film out of it. All we need at this stage is some help to complete it to be as perfect as possible.
A lonely man with an intention of documenting every important detail is planning to kill his ex-girlfriend within 72 hours, only to realize things are not as easy as he previously imagined.
