Halloween 6, 7, and 8 Available on Blu-ray in Canada

Looking for a high definition Michael Myers fix? Alliance Canada has you covered with a bundle pack of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, Halloween H20, and Halloween Resurrection together on a single Blu-ray disc. These may not be Big Mike’s finest moments, but give me the Mark of Thorn or Josh Hartnett over Hobo Myers any day of the week.

This set is devoid of extras, but you can dig on The Curse of Michael Myers and H20 in 1080i resolution (although I’m told they’re still a significant upgrade from the lousy, non-anamorphic DVDs) while Resurrection gets the full 1080p treatment. On the audio front, there’s DTS HD 5.1 Master Audio and lossy Dolby Digital 5.1 (the box doesn’t specify which films get what) to rock your home theaters.

It could be a very long time before Disney/Dimension decide to revisit these films, so if you’re itching to add some more Michael Myers to your Blu-ray collections, head on over to Amazon.ca and order a copy for only $19.99 CDN.

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.

Wow that is not a bad deal for those 3 films.

Halloween 6 was interesting because it was the last pre-Scream Halloween, when the actors were unknowns and didn’t overshadow the story, errr, sort of story.

Does anyone else love the dad from Halloween 6? I miss characters like that in horror movies.

I watched H20 again the other day, and Michael acted strange in it, too much head turning.

Halloween 6, while flawed, is a really enjoyable movie.

It’s got LOTS of great Halloween atmosphere, some awesome Michael moments and, as you mentioned, John Strode. That dude rules.

Y’know, for someone who supposedly doesn’t like Rob Zombie’s Halloween or its sequel, you spend ALOT of time talking about it on this site.

I expect a glowing, “hey, this film isn’t that bad” review some time in the next few years.

Actually I’ve watched RZ’s H2 several times already and I STILL don’t know how I feel about it! LOL

    • Masked Slasher

You’ll never get that from me. :)

I gave H2 a second chance at home and it was even worse than the first time.

This Blu-ray collection is going to be a fantastic little palate cleanser for me.

The criticism will die down eventually… if Zombie ever makes something good again.

    I REALLY want this!
