Exclusive – Zak Bagans on the Destruction of the Demon House

Published

The Ammons House

We’ve been following Zak Bagans’ new film, The Demon House, which tells the tale of his in-depth investigation of The Ammons House, for a while now. Last Bagans told us, the investigation was still ongoing. Now he’s found a way to stop the activity once and for all by having the home destroyed.

“I destroyed the house because I do not want anyone to ever live there again,” Bagans tells us exclusively. “I saw too many things, and there was something inside the house that affected everyone. The police, clergy, children, my production crew. Everyone.”

What of the remains of this place? Zak wouldn’t go into any more detail so we’ll have to wait until The Demon House is unleashed for the full story.

Look for more on The Demon House and Bagans’ other projects, including Sympathy, Said the Shark and a new series for Travel Channel, soon. In the interim check out this video of the structure’s destruction courtesy of TMZ.

Guillermo del Toro’s Animated Series Trollhunters 2 Now Streaming on Netflix

Published

on

Netflix’s “Trollhunters” isn’t a series I’ve had the chance to check out for myself. Nothing against the kid’s horror series, I just haven’t had the time.

That said I’ve heard good word-of-mouth regarding the series and being that it comes from the mind of Guillermo del Toro it can’t be a total waste of time. Especially with a cast featuring Ron Perlman, Steven Yeun, and Anton Yelchin.

If you’re like me and haven’t given the show a go yet, then make sure to check out the following promos below and then make your mind up from there. You have to hand it to the series as it looks utterly stunning. Hope the actual content holds up. Only one way to find out!

“Trollhunters” is created and executive produced by Guillermo del Toro. Executive producers include Marc Guggenheim, Rodrigo Blaas, Christina Steinberg, and Chad Hammes. Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman are co-executive producers.

Voice talent for includes Kelsey Grammer (“The Simpsons,” X-Men: The Last Stand), Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Steven Yeun (“The Walking Dead”), and Anton Yelchin (Fright Night).

“Trollhunters Part 2” is now streaming on Netflix.

Synopsis:

When ordinary teenager Jim Lake, Jr., stumbles upon a mystical amulet on his way to school one morning, he inadvertently discovers an extraordinary secret civilization of mighty trolls beneath his small town of Arcadia. Suddenly destined to play a crucial role in an ancient battle of good and evil, Jim is determined to save the world – right after gym class.

A new version of the much beloved classic The Bad Seed will soon be sprouting up on Lifetime television as Deadline is reporting that Rob Lowe is set to direct and star in a remake of the 1956 Oscar-nominated thriller.

This latest reimagining is penned by Barbara Marshall (Wish Upon) based on a best-selling novel by William March that was adapted as a long-running Broadway play. Lowe will star as a father who seems to have everything under control. But when a terrible tragedy takes place at his daughter, Emma’s, school, he is forced to question everything he thought he knew about his beloved girl. He slowly begins to question if Emma’s exemplary behavior is just a façade and whether she played a role in the horrific incident. When more strange things begin to happen, he’s faced with keeping a terrible secret to protect Emma but ultimately must stop her from striking again.

Lowe, The Wolper Organization’s Mark Wolper (“Bates Motel,” “Roots”), and Elizabeth Stephen executive produce. Preliminary casting is under way with production eyeing an early 2018 start.
