Fans of The CW’s Supernatural (including this writer) have been patiently waiting for a sneak peek of next week’s episode entitled “Sam, Interrupted” over the show’s seemingly interminable holiday hiatus. At long last our patience has been rewarded.
Season 5’s 11th ep. airs January 21st, and here’s the synopsis:
A former hunter named Martin, who is currently institutionalized, calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help investigating a case in the mental hospital. The brothers get themselves admitted as patients to check out the mysterious monster that is attacking the patients, but their incarceration pushes both to the breaking point as they unleash their inner demons against each other.
