Now the crime fighting foursome will be brought to life on the big screen by brothers Colin and Casey Yost. Deadline is reporting that Colin Yost, best known for his work on Saturday Night Live is teaming up with his brother Casey to pen an untitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles story for Paramount. Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, Scott Mednick, and Galen Walker are producing.

Currently there is no other plot information available about the film. However, Seth Rogen has also penned and produced a CGI animated reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that has a release date of August 11, 2023.

The TMNT originally appeared in a comic book series by writer/artist team Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman back in 1984. Originally intended as a parody of Marvel’s Daredevil and New Mutants. The series, about four anthropomorphic mutated teenage turtles, named after renaissance artists and trained in the sacred ways of ninjitsu by their master; an anthropomorphic rat named Splinter. Has developed a massive fan following over the thirty-five years of its history and seen many variations and reboots. Including comic books, animated series, feature films, toys and video games. Most recently with Michael Bay’s reimagining back in 2014.
