If you’re in the Boston area and looking for something completely different for your horror fix, be sure to take note of the groovy little horror night lined up at the Somerville Theater, where you can catch Maidenhead (review here) on the big screen!

Hosted by the folks at All Things Horror, you’ll be able to catch Maidenhead along with three short films, Chemical 12-D, The Familiar and Death in Charge – all for a paltry $5 bucks!

It all goes down at the Somerville Theater tomorrow night:

Somerville Theater, 55 Davis Square, Somerville MA 02144
7 – 9 pm
Price: $5

Maidenhead (dir Jim Spanos)

A very different kind of vampire movie. If you are a fan of Grace, this film acts as a fantastic bookend. Martin (AJ Bowen) must procure the fresh blood of virgins in order to care for his elderly father, who has been infected with vampirism. When he meets and falls for Meredith, this threatens the precarious balance of his life.

Death in Charge (dir Devi Snively)

Winner Best Short Film, 2009 Shriekfest- The Grim Reaper ends up babysitting a snotty ten-year-old girl after an absentminded mother rushes out the door for a date. Fan of EC comics will love this movie.

Chemical 12-D (dir Mac Eldridge)

Winner of the Audience Award, Chicago Filmmakers Citywide Film Fest. A lone doctor races to find a cure for a zombie outbreak.

The Familiar (dir Kody Zimmerman)

A young man wants nothing more than to become a vampire and ends up acting as a personal assistant to one of the undead in this horror/comedy hybrid.

Not a bad night out for five bills. Those of you nearby should definitely be checking this one out!
