Issue #2 of FVZA: Federal Vampire and Zombie Agency from writer David Hine and illustrator Roy Allan Martinez goes on sale January 6th, 2010, and we’ve got a look at both of the comic’s covers along with a brief synopsis of what you can expect from the second installment.

Radical Publishing has a huge hit on its hands with FVZA, which is based on the popular FVZA.org website, created by Richard S. Dargan. FVZA: Federal Vampire and Zombie Agency chronicles a world where a deadly disease, representing a new threat of global terrorism, transforms innocent victims into zombies. A long dormant government task force is called into action: the Federal Vampire and Zombie Agency.

The two covers you see below are by Clint Langley (left) and Yang Xueguo (right).

FVZA Issue #2 Artwork and Synopsis

Here’s what you can expect in Issue #2: After a successful raid on the zombie-infected town of Corben, the newly reinstated FVZA recruits are on high alert. But as the agency scans the world for new outbreaks of the undead virus, the vampire high council begins its plan for domination of the United States. Only the knowledge of newly appointed agency adviser Hugo Pecos and the battle skills of his grandchildren, Landra and Vidal, will give the FVZA a fighting chance at extinguishing the undead threat once and for all!

Three issues in total are planned, so keep it here for a look at #3 soon!
