Ethan Hawke Has 24 Hours to Live

Ethan Hawke is one of the few A-list actors who regularly dabble in the horror genre, and the results are usually great. So we’re pretty stoked to learn that he’s signed on to 24 Hours to Live from Thunder Road Pictures and Chinese production company Fundamental Films, in which he’ll play an assassin who is killed on the job, only to be resurrected by his employer and given a shot at redemption.

Brian Smrz, known for the 2008 straight-to-DVD action flick Hero Wanted, will direct with writer Zachary Dean adapting an earlier script from Ron Mita and Jim McClain.

The international rights for 24 Hours to Live will be featured at Berlin’s European Film Market next week, so we expect to be hearing a lot more about this one in the near future.
