Badass (And We Mean Badass) New Trailer for Aliens vs. Predator

Remember when the trailers for AVP:R came out around Christmas time a couple of years ago and we all got the fuzzy feeling inside? Little did we know that feeling would turn out to be indigestion caused by severe eye strain. A new story-based trailer has emerged for Sega’s upcoming Aliens vs. Predator video game, and that feeling is back and looking more than justified. Get ready for a truly “Holy Shit!” moment!

The next-gen version of this benchmark multiplayer first-person shooter franchise is coming with SEGA’s new Aliens vs. Predator game. From the developer of the series’ first title comes this next big event with three unique species fighting for supremacy on the battlefield. Play as Predator, Marine, and Alien in three radically different single-player experiences that intertwine to create a thrilling story. Jump into cinematic non-stop multiplayer action with a roller coaster ride of explosive firepower, horror, stealth, and gory fang and claw combat.

Look for it February 16, 2010, on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Windows PC.

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.

That looks completely awesome. I hope there’s some jungle action with the alien, it’s one environment that you’ve never seen it in. My fingers twitched, memories of AVP2 coming up as I watched the trailer. OH PLEASE SAY THERE WILL BE A DEMO TO TASTE SOME OF THAT KICK ASS SHIT!

Badass indeed. This looks way more badass than the original which was pretty badass itself. This game is going to be so completely badass that anyone thinking of making a new movie that has anything to do with these worlds should play it first and understand how it’s supposed to be. I have no hope for the new Predator movie with the cast they are assembling so this is it. I’d also like to play Colonial Marines but I guess one badass game is enough at any given time. Badass!
