Robert Englund recently got back behind the camera for the first time since 976-EVIL to helm the horror/comedy Killer Pad. The story is one you’ve heard before: Kids move from the Midwest to LA, find a place in the Hollywood Hills for a steal, and prepare to become pimp daddies. Happens all the time.
Only this time the place they find is actually a portal to hell; and hell, as I’m sure you all know, is very picky about who lives on its portals. Needless to say things get messy.
The producers have provided Dread Central with an exclusive clip from the film, which should give you a good idea of what they’re going for; it’s got some over-the-top horrors that are not meant in any way to be taken seriously.
