Dear Mr. Gacy Teaser, Clip, and Q&A with William Forsythe

We haven’t heard much lately about Dear Mr. Gacy, the film adaptation of The Last Victim, the memoirs of Jason Moss, who corresponded with serial killer John Wayne Gacy; but today brought forth a bonanza of information, including a teaser, a clip, and the chance for members of the Dread Central community to ask star William Forsythe any questions they might have regarding the new film and/or his portrayal of Gacy.

Currently Dear Mr. Gacy producer Clark Peterson is focusing on the social promotion aspect for the film, which is due out next year. An official site was recently launched, and in addition Forsythe will be doing a video shoot in the Chicago area next Monday and Tuesday, December 14 and 15, 2009. The actor will be talking to several of Gacy’s old acquaintances and his defense attorney, as well as detectives that were on the famous case, which celebrates its 30th anniversary next year.

During the shoot, Forsythe will answer questions sent in from fans directly so email your questions HERE. You will receive a reply no matter what along with notification if your question will be asked during filming. The last day for questions to be sent in will be Sunday, December 13, at midnight (EST); and the interview videos will go up soon after they are produced.

Forsythe’s co-star is The Uninvited‘ Jesse Moss in the role of Jason Moss, and Mirage director Svetozar Ristovski is making his English-language debut with the film. Check out the teaser and a clip below, and keep it here for more on Dear Mr. Gacy as it comes.
