The 5th Wave Launches the #MakeWaves Initiative; Help Save the Planet!

Set for release this Friday, January 22nd, The 5th Wave is an alien invasion film about Earth being destroyed, and it’s being used as the catalyst for a tie-campaign intended to, well, help save our planet. Want to be a hero? Want to save the world? Read on to find out how you can!
The 5th Wave has teamed up with Yosemite Conservancy, and they’re offering a dollar for every tweet and Facebook post you make using #MakeWaves and #Charity, telling them how you’re helping preserve the planet in 2016.
Simply tag @YoseConservancy on Twitter or Yosemite Conservancy on Facebook with #MakeWaves and #Charity, and the donations will be made on your behalf. Stars Chloe Grace Moretz and Alex Roe have already taken part, so check out their contributions below!
The Yosemite Conservancy provides grants and support to Yosemite National Park to help preserve and protect Yosemite today and for future generations.

The 5th Wave follows Cassie (Chloe Grace Moretz) as she tries to protect her brother after aliens attack the Earth. Directed by The Disappearance of Alice Creed’s J. Blakeson, the film costars Liev Schreiber, Alex Roe, and Nick Robinson.
Synopsis:
Four waves of increasingly deadly attacks have left most of Earth decimated. Against a backdrop of fear and distrust, 16-year-old Cassie (Moretz) is on the run, desperately trying to save her younger brother. As she prepares for the inevitable and lethal fifth wave, Cassie teams up with a young man who may become her final hope – if she can only trust him.
