“Scream Queens” started off strong but overstayed its welcome a bit as far as we were concerned; however, it seems the powers-that-be at Fox disagree as they’ve just announced a second season for the show. Will Jamie Lee Curtis be back? At this point that’s unknown, but read on for what we do know.

Season 2 graduates from the college campus and into an all-new location, as a terrifyingly funny murder mystery will begin once again. This time the show will be set in a hospital, where some of the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases are under observation.

No cast announcements were made, but it’s likely Jamie Lee Curtis will be back, along with most of the actors who survived Season 1.  The number of episodes is also unclear, but it will probably be around 13.  Expect an official announcement soon.

Created by “Glee” co-creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan, who also serve as writers and directors on the series, “Scream Queens” is from Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision in association with 20th Century Fox Television. It is executive produced by Murphy, Falchuk, Brennan, and Alexis Martin Woodall (“American Horror Story: Hotel”).
