Gallery to Showcase the Work of Late Godzilla Poster Artist Noriyoshi Ōrai

It’s always great to see people getting praised and acknowledged for their work, even if it is after their passing. Noriyoshi Ōrai, who was responsible for illustrating many of the classic Godzilla movie posters, sadly passed away in October.
The Parco Gallery X in Shibuya, Japan, will showcase all of his work, running through January, with a focus on his Godzilla posters. So if, however unlikely it may seem, you’re lucky enough to be in the area at the time, then you should definitely check it out.
Ōrai, who also created official art for franchises such as Star Wars, Gundam, and Metal Gear, was a legend in the industry… and rightly so. Looking at the images below; I really don’t think that I can come up with an elegant enough way to describe how beautiful they are.
