Synopsis: Puppet Master: Axis of Evil

Besides MattFini, we’re really not too sure who else is excited about the ninth entry into the Puppet Master franchise entitled Puppet Master: Axis of Evil. It’s filming in China and possibly shooting in 3D, but not much else is known about the flick other than it stars newcomer Levi Fiehler, August White wrote the screenplay, and Dave DeCoteau is in the director’s seat. That is until now.

Full Moon released the film’s official synopsis, and you can dig on it below along with some older making-of videos. Look for more on this one soon.

In a Stateside hotel during the height of World War II, young Danny Coogan dreams of joining the war effort. Following the murder of hotel guest Mr. Toulon by Nazi assassins, Danny finds the old man’s crate of mysterious puppets and is suddenly thrust into a battle all his own. He discovers that Nazis Max and Klaus, along with beautiful Japanese saboteur Ozu, plan to attack a secret American manufacturing plant. After his family is attacked and his girlfriend Beth is kidnapped, it is up to Danny and the living deadly Puppets to stop this Axis of Evil…

LOL. There can never be too many puppet master movies. I seriously wonder why they just never made a show. He produces his films so fast he could probably shoot out an entire mini series at blinding speed.

Hmm, my previous comment is gone. In any case, I’ll definitely check this out when it launches. I really hope it’s as reminiscent of classic Full Moon as the behind-the-scenes videos make it look.
