County Road K is an upcoming home invasion flick from first-time director Philip Gelatt. While we don’t know much about it at this point, keep reading for the earliest details.
According to Variety, County Road K will be a new twist on the genre. “I’m fascinated by the macabre little stories that occur off the main roads of Middle America, and ‘County Road K’ is exactly that kind of tale: small, twisted and unsettling,” said Gelatt, who also penned the script.
Gelatt sold his first graphic novel series, “Labor Days,” to Oni Press. He has also worked on Dark Horse and Lucasfilm’s “Indiana Jones Adventures” comic book. He recently wrote a draft of Nurse 3D for Lionsgate.
I’m always up for a creepy home invasion flick. I wonder if it’ll be as effective as The Strangers.
