Never Sleep Again Website Online This Friday

While we wait for Platinum Dunes to tarnish yet another beloved franchise with April, 2010’s A Nightmare on Elm Street remake, there’s still a Freddy project that we can all look forward to this spring. Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy is on its way, and today we’re going to give you the drop on the soon-to-launch official site!

That’s right … this Friday, the Never Sleep Again website is going live, and on it you’ll be able to keep up-to-date on all aspects of production with blogs, fan forums, and a regular newsletter. Those of you who sign up for the newsletter will be given exclusive information about the pre-sale of the DVD, a first look at interviews/outtakes, and access to special contests/giveaways. Why not sign up?

Never Sleep Again’s official site will be partnered with NightmareonElmStreetFilms.com, and that’s where you’ll be able to learn all you could ever want to know about Freddy Krueger’s legacy until the documentary launches in the spring.

Directed by Daniel Farrands and Andrew Kasch, this comprehensive look at the Nightmare films is written and produced by Thommy Hutson with Heather Langenkamp serving as executive-producer, Buz “Danger” Wallick serving as director of photography, and Bill Philputt and the inimitable Uncle Creepy serving as associate producers.

All I know is there’d better be some love for Nightmare 2.

For more on this project check out the official Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy website and the official Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy MySpace page.
