Exclusive Trailer Debut for Michael Anderson’s Followed

On November 24th director/producer Michael Anderson’s Followed is being released on digital platforms by Logolite Entertainment, and today we’re pleased to debut its trailer.
The film was written by Casey Campbell, and along with Anderson its producers include Brand Birtwistle and executive producer Christopher Sepulveda. Followed‘s primary cast is comprised of Adam LeClair, Stefanie Butler, and Steve Lewis.
Followed is an inventive found-footage thriller about a couple on a cross-country trip who are being stalked by a deadly killer after he inadvertently ends up in the background of the home video they’re making. Filmed over eight states at iconic landmarks from the Grand Canyon to Death Valley, Followed is an exhilarating travelogue adventure turned deadly.
In the tradition of John Cassavetes, Followed elevates the low-budget thriller genre and stretches the limits of what is typically possible on a shoestring. Calling into question who might be in the background of your latest selfie, the film reminds viewers that you never know who may be following you.
Synopsis:
After receiving a musical fellowship in Los Angeles, Chicagoans Rachel (Stefanie Butler) and David (Adam LeClair) pack up their things and set out to start a new life together in the Golden State. To commemorate the adventure, David documents their every move, including his secret plot to propose to Rachel along the way.
After toasting their friends and securing the last of their belongings, the couple sets off, but not before David unknowingly captures potentially incriminating evidence while shooting a few final shots of their beloved neighborhood. A few shots that change the course of their lives forever as they become the prey of an unstable stalker desperate to recover what they don’t even know they possess.
The celebratory trip quickly turns sinister when David and Rachel begin to suspect that they are being followed. Unsure of who or what might be after them, the road trip turns into a psychological game of cat and mouse as the couple races across the iconic plains of the American West to uncertain safety.
