Anyone who attended tonight’s Scream Awards at the Greek Theatre in LA hoping to see Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart win in their respective categories or present new footage from New Moon left disappointed. But members of Team Jacob made out like bandits thanks to a win by Taylor Lautner for Best Male Break-out Performance and his return to the stage a short while later to accept for Twilight in the Best Fantasy Film category.
According to those at the show, the Best Male and Female Fantasy Actor categories (the two in which Rob & Kristen were nominated) weren’t announced, leaving us to speculate that Spike has something up its sleeve for the TV broadcast version that airs on Tuesday, October 27th.
Also, the promised “new” Twilight Saga: New Moon footage that was supposed to debut during the ceremonies looked suspiciously like the same stuff we’ve seen already, again leading us (and the Twitterverse, which was following everything Twilight related very closely) to suspect Spike and Summit have opted to debut the footage during the broadcast rather than risk it leaking out from the live show. Here’s a look at some of what was shown. You be the judge.
