Twilight Saga: New Moon – Buy a Movie Ticket; Get a Free Music Download!

Summit Entertainment has teamed up with leading online movie ticketing sites Fandango and MovieTickets.com to offer consumers who purchase advance tickets by December 7, 2009 for The Twilight Saga: New Moon a free, exclusive remix of the song “Satellite Heart” by Anya Marina. A free download code (redeemable only on iTunes) will be distributed via e-mail for every ticket purchased.

The original version of “Satellite Heart” is featured on the film’s soundtrack, which, as we reported previously, has been moved up from its original October 20th release date to this Friday, October 16th.

Consumers who have purchased or will purchase tickets by the December 7th deadline for New Moon at Fandango or MovieTickets.com can expect to receive an e-mail from their ticket provider with the iTunes Store promotional code(s) to access the free download. No additional purchase will be necessary.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon, directed by Chris Weitz and starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, will be released November 20, 2009. In the film, the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as Bella Swan (Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she yearns to become part of — only to find herself in greater peril than ever before. Following Edward Cullen’s (Pattinson) departure from Forks, Washington, Bella discovers his image comes to her whenever she puts herself in jeopardy. In time Bella’s frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob Black (Lautner), who has a supernatural secret of his own.
