HalloweeNight Already Stalking DVD

It’s no secret that my personal experiences with the films of Mark and John Polonia have not exactly been joyous ones, but I am happy to pass along news of their newest project, HalloweeNight, that doesn’t look too bad for a Halloween-themed horror flick about a killer scarecrow. I rather dig that evil Jack Skellington pumpkinhead monster on the attack.
“A college party is the stage for bloodshed and murder on Halloween Night, as a mistreated student exacts his revenge on those who wronged him. Using the effigy of a living scarecrow, his Frankenstein-like creation carries out his heinous plans. One female student, Trix, is the only thing that’s stands between him, and the bloodiest massacre to ever take place on the night of All Hallow’s Eve.”
HalloweeNight marks the first film by Mark Polonia since the untimely death of his brother earlier this year. The film’s producer also passed away shortly after the film’s completion. Indie filmmaker Brett Piper (still alive) provides the special effects work, including, presumably, the killer Jack O’Lantern creature seen in the trailer.
Mark Polonia is self-distributing the DVD under the Cinegraphic Productions banner. You can order it now for $12.99 through the movie’s official website. The DVD includes a making-of, a photo gallery, and the film’s trailer. You can also watch that trailer below.
