We’re already up to Episode 6 of Season 5 of Supernatural, entitled “I Believe the Children Are Our Future”, and the first sneak peek video is available … along with some pretty awesome guest casting news for Episode 10, set to air on November 19th.

First up, the clip. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a series of odd murders that strangely resemble fairytales and urban legends. The brothers track down an 11-year-old boy named Jesse (guest star Gattlin Griffith) and realize that whatever Jesse believes is coming true. Castiel (Misha Collins) tells Sam and Dean that Jesse is a serious threat and needs to be eliminated. Charles Beeson directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb and Daniel Loflin.

[Note that after “I Believe…” airs this week, The CW is torturing us with a rerun on November 22nd; new eps resume on the 29th.]

Next — and proceed reading at your own risk as there are some spoilers — The Chicago Tribune got word the ubiquitous and talented Mark Sheppard (“Medium” fans will recognize him as the recurring character of evil Dr. Charles Walker) will play a “pivotal” crossroads demon named Crowley in Episode 10 of the season. The episode is called “Abandon All Hope…,” and it was written by Ben Edlund and will be directed by Phil Sgriccia. It’s the final episode of 2009 … [and] is “epic” and will “definitely … have the fans on the edge of their seats.”
