Release Date Shuffle: Priest and Cabin in the Woods

Quick updates on a couple of movies that have been bouncing around like an out of control rubber ball for a long while now — Sony Pictures’ Priest and MGM’s Cabin in the Woods have been moved around yet again.
Sony / Screen Gems announced today that their upcoming Paul Bettany vehicle Priest has been bumped from its March 2011 release date to May 13th, 2011, and according to The Hollywood Reporter MGM’s woes continue and as a result the Drew Goddard directed creature feature Cabin in the Woods could very well be pushed out of its January 14th, 2011 release date until the studio can get itself together financially and structure-wise.
Don’t worry, kids. We’ll see these flicks someday. Maybe. At least we think so. Um … yeah.
